BI.MU 2020: Metal forming and metal cutting machines, robots, automation and auxiliary technologies.

Third in the international exporters ranking, and fourth in the manufacturers ranking, Italy can boasts BI-MU as one of the historical and most qualified international events dedicated to machine tools, robot, production system and auxiliary technologies industry. And this year the show is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary.

32.BI-MU will be held from Wednesday, October 14th to Saturday, October 17th 2020 and is is promoted by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Italian machine tool, robots, automation systems and ancillary products (NC, tools, components, accessories) manufacturers' association.

The “MAKE” of BI-MU and the “BUY” of SFORTEC INDUSTRY

In order to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving market, from this year on BI-MU will take place together with SFORTEC INDUSTRY, the new interpretation of SFORTEC, which dissolves its exclusive connection with the machine tool sector by expanding its technological repertoire to the whole manufacturing industry, gaining the title of “INDUSTRY”. 

In this way, the organizers of the biennial machine tool exhibition intend to offer the widest range of products to the public visiting the trade show who will be able to choose between two parallel visit routes: the “Make” of BI-MU, for those who design and build, and the “Buy” of SFORTEC INDUSTRY, for those who buy services, outsourcing as a part of their business.

The 2018 of BI.MU saw over 1,056 companies exhibiting with over 40% which came from abroad, displayed in an exposition area of 100,000 sq. mt. The show hosted over 65,000 visitors, and 1,000 business meetings were conducted.
