Expo Pack México celebra 30 años reuniendo en Latinoamérica lo mejor de la industria plástica
The fair will feature more than 1,000 exhibitors from 20 countries, who will present their latest industrial innovations in an area of 18,700 m2.
26,000 industry professionals, more than 1,000 exhibitors from 20 countries, technologies and trends for all stages of the supply chain, a growing sustainability pavilion and eight international pavilions are ready to put the eyes of the global plastics industry on the Aztec capital.
Expo Pack Mexico, the Latin American edition of one of the most prominent international exhibitions of the packaging industry, will celebrate its 30th edition from June 16-19, 2015 at the traditional Centro Banamex in the Mexican capital.
The event will bring together more than 26 thousand packaging industry professionals from more than 30 countries, a conservative expectation with respect to the immediately previous edition, which stood out for its regional international profile, with buyers from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru and Venezuela. The fair will feature more than a thousand exhibitors from 20 countries, who will present their latest industrial innovations in an area of 18,700 square meters.
The packaging and processing professionals who will attend Expo Pack Mexico 2015 collaborate in a wide variety of industries, including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, graphic arts, chemical, electronics, textiles and automotive, so it is expected that the event will showcase industrial solutions and processing lines for various sectors that use and manufacture plastic packaging. Thus, the event will feature the latest in packaging and processing machinery, materials, packaging, as well as other related goods and services, covering all stages of the packaging supply chain.
The fair will be held simultaneously with Expo Pack Verde, the program that supports and disseminates sustainable technology and advocates the inclusion and dissemination of environmentally friendly practices. The exhibition will host this initiative for the sixth consecutive year and all its versions have been more successful than the immediately previous one, evidencing the importance of sustainability in the plastics sector. In its 2014 version, Expo Pack Verde had the participation of 77 exhibitors.
The fair will also have satellite events such as the Stellar Packaging Contest, the Sustainable Company Award, the AMEE (Mexican Association of Packaging) National Congress and a complete cycle of conferences, organized by this outstanding Mexican association.
An exhibition for every industrial need
Given its size and wide variety of solutions for different industries, the exhibition is distributed in such a way that attendees can make the most of their visit, stopping at the solutions and products that best suit their processing and packaging manufacturing needs.
Thus, in terms of solutions for food and beverage processing, attendees will find the latest developments in technology and equipment for the processing supply chain, as well as packaging and materials to preserve freshness, reduce waste, enhance brands and improve point-of-sale presence.
In terms of solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, there will be innovative technologies to protect products, provide accurate dosing, track and trace technologies, as well as packaging and materials that preserve sterility, protect and extend shelf life, while preventing product adulteration and tampering, a highly relevant issue for this sector, especially in matters of regulatory compliance and good industrial practices.
Various solutions for the cosmetics and personal care industry will be on display, such as machinery, equipment, packaging design and labeling solutions, as well as containers and materials that maintain product quality, reduce waste and strengthen the brand, thanks to innovative designs and trends in materials, colors and special textures for a sector in which packaging stands out for its superior level.
Finally, in terms of packaging and materials, visitors will find innovative packaging, revolutionary designs for shelf strategies and materials designed to help differentiate product lines and reinforce or reinvent brands.
Mexico's food and beverage industry, a market worth $1.4 billion, accounted for 12 percent of manufacturing GDP and 4 percent of overall GDP in 2013. It is therefore a key market for the fair, along with the pharmaceutical, personal care, cosmetics, graphic arts, chemical, electronics, textile and automotive sectors.
Expo Pack Mexico is organized by PMMI, a trade association with more than 600 members in North America, including manufacturers of machinery for packaging, processing and converting, manufacturers of components for packaging machinery, finished packaging and materials. The Mexican trade show is sponsored by AMEE; the National Chamber of the Canned Food Industry, CANAINCA; the National Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry, CANIFARMA; and the National Chamber of the Cosmetics Industry, CANIPEC.
