The Aerospace Industry is Developing in San Luis Potosi with a $130 Million Dollar Investment

The Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco) of San Luis Potosi announced the growth of the aerospace sector, which has driven foreign investment in excess of $130 million dollars.

The head of Sedeco Jesus Salvador Gonzalez Martinez, said that investment in the aerospace industry grew 127.7 percent, reflecting the confidence of companies in this region of the country.

Currently, five companies in the sector generate more than 4,100 jobs in the region, manufacturing key components for aircraft, such as electrical systems, thermal insulation panels, and high-precision parts.

This is the reason why San Luis Potosí has been highlighted as an aerospace reference, for which he assured that they will continue working for this sector to be strong in the economic development and in the generation of specialized employment.

The operating companies are Tighitco Latinoamericana, Eaton Truck Components, and Aearo Technologies de México, from the United States; Impro Industries México, from China; and Diser Industrial, of the Mexican capital. These companies manufacture parts such as cargo nets, thermal insulators, electrical components, and high-precision castings.
