According to the Ministry of Economy of Guanajuato, there are around 58 companies in the state that have expanded their production, also manufacturing auto parts for electric cars. 

Cristina Villaseñor, head of the agency, stated that some companies located in the region have been producing auto parts for the new mobility for some time now, and 80% of them belong to the Guanajuato Automotive Cluster.

He stated that some of the auto parts that are already being manufactured in the state for the electric car segment are the following: Rubber profiles for car doors, to reduce sound; Hoses and fluid conduction systems; Aluminum injected battery casings and Chargers for electric vehicles.

The representative of the state's Ministry of Economy said that companies such as Standard Profil, located in Apaseo el Grande, focus on manufacturing high-tech sealing systems, such as rubber supports for automobiles.

While Webasto specializes in producing chargers for electric vehicles. It was at the beginning of 2023, that the German company opened a new plant with the intention of contributing to electric mobility, by having eight production lines in charging solutions.

The Italian company Pirelli, with its Research and Development Center, has conducted analyses to improve tire design to contribute to more optimal mobility.
