ICE-Agency Chicago and UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, just concluded a "fact finding" tour to Ohio and Alabama in March. The exploratory mission aimed to learn the peculiarities of two dynamic economies, from a manufacturing industry perspective, in the United States and to identify best practices and business opportunities for Italian manufacturers of metalworking machinery and technology.Meetings were, in addition, held with local government economic development agencies and entities, industrial associations and major U.S. manufacturing companies.
In the fall, ICE-Agency Chicago and UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE will present a report containing assessments of the outcomes of the mission. The report will also contain useful information for Italian companies interested in entering or expanding their presence in the U.S. and North America.
