Machines Italia And Utilgroup Host Industry 4.0 Roundtable By Plant Magazine

More than 300 Canadian manufacturing decision makers participated in a survey to express opinions, orientations, strategic agendas inherent in the adoption of technologies such as IIOT, Big Data, robotics and automation, AI, Machines Learning,ERP and Supply Chain integration to the training and preparation of skilled personnel.
The last edition of the survey had highlighted a general lag of Canadian businesses in implementing smart technologies, with 84 percent of respondents confirming the importance of new technologies, but with about ¼ having little or no familiarity' with them.
The results of the 2020 survey will be released along with input from experts participating in the roundtable discussion.
