Mexico's product exports grew at an interannual rate of 4.1% in 2024, to 617,099.6 million dollars, Inegi reported Monday.
Export growth in 2024 resulted from a 5.2% advance in non-oil exports and a 14.4% decline in oil exports.
The growth of imports in 2024 was the result of a 7.3% increase in non-oil imports and a 25.7% decrease in oil imports.
Within non-oil foreign sales, agricultural sales grew 7.1%, to 23,255.4 million dollars; extractive sales rose 18.6%, to 10,874.5 million dollars, and manufacturing sales advanced 4.8%, to 554,443.6 million dollars.
Within manufacturing exports, automotive exports totaled 193,907.2 million dollars (+2.7%, year-on-year), while non-automotive exports amounted to 360,536.4 million dollars (+6.1%).
