Carlos TAvares, CEO of Stellantis announced that Canada could be home to one of two battery factories that the world's sixth largest automotive group (by sales revenue) plans to build in North America. According to rumors , the new facility is expected to be located near Brampton, Ontario, in the Toronto Hinterland, where .the sporty, internal-combustion Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger models are currently assembled .and are expected to be converted to electric propulsion by 2024.
