ICE-Agenzia, in collaboration with UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, organized a conference in Milan on October 4 to present opportunities in the U.S. market, with a focus on the machine tool sector.
During the initiative, the video of the "Fact Finding Tour USA" exploratory mission to Ohio and Alabama held in March 2017 was presented, during which representatives of the ICE office in Chicago and UCIMU visited Italian and foreign companies rooted in the U.S. territory and met with local institutions, gathering important information and relevant data on the metalworking sector in the two states.

She opened the proceedings of the Milan conference, Marinella Loddo, Executive of the ICE office in Milan and by Massimo Carboniero, President of UCIMU with Alfredo Mariotti, Director General of UCIMU, as moderator. Speakers included Stefania Pigozzi, Head of UCIMU's Center for Studies and Enterprise Culture; Marco Saladini, Director ICE Agency Chicago; Luigi Serio, Professor of Economics and Business Management at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan; and Guido Nicola, Senior Partner VVR Verto Value Regeneration.
At the end of the presentations, UCIMU presented the "Master of Mechanics 2017" awards to Pietro Colombo, Chairman of BLM Group, and Armando Corsi.
