Greensboro North Carolina Selected by JetZero for $4.7 Billion Jet Manufacturing Plant
JetZero, a California startup, is pushing ahead with its Z4 mixed-wing aircraft, saying it is the biggest innovation in commercial aviation since the jet age. The company is creating a $4.7 billion manufacturing center in Greensboro, N.C., that is expected to create 14,500 jobs by 2036. The Z4 design improves fuel efficiency by up to 50 percent and offers more space for 250 passengers or cargo.
