CONEXPO-CON/AGG – Where every major construction industry is represented amongst 2,500+ exhibitors over 2,500,000 square feet and more than 150 education sessions including asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, lifting, mining, utilities and more. This year the Italian Trade Agency along with the Italian Construction Equipment Association, UNACEA, will be exhibiting together in booth # S5136 a t this year's edition, highlighting the latest offers of Italian solution providers for the industry. Created in 2010, at present with about eighty members, Unacea is the Italian trade association of construction equipment, open to the contribution of all companies, institutions, and organizations involved in the CE industry. Unacea membership includes earth-moving machines, attachments, concrete equipment, tower cranes, and drilling machinery. The mission of Unacea is to create a lean, business-led association with zero bureaucracy, able to defend the sector in Italy in an authoritative, unitary manner, and represent the sector in Europe and around the world.

According to recent statistics from Istat, the Italian Statistical Agency, elaborated by Unacea, a newly formed association representing the Italian construction equipment industry, Italian exports of construction machinery and equipment grew by a stunning 23% with respect to the previous year. For 2011, the total value of the Italian export of construction machinery and equipment worldwide surpassed 2,226 million Euros. The biggest growth was registered within the earthmoving machinery sector (+42%), followed by tower cranes (+23%), drilling and boring machines (20%), on-road construction
