Tecnargilla presents the broadest product range of any sector related trade show, hosting the leading producers of technology for tiles, bathroom fixtures, bricks, dishware, refractory materials, and technical ceramics. It´s no coincidence this show is held in Italy, a country renown as a world leader in ceramics and related technologies.

If 2012 stats are any indication, 2014 24th edition will promise to be both bigger and better. The last edition (2012), housed over 450 exhibitors in a gross exhibition area of 75,000 square meters, drawing a record number of visitors (30,458 of which 48.7% (14,822) were international and highly qualified). 2012 saw a 1.5% increase in attendance from 2010 and proved once more to be the trade show most popular with international trade buyers and visitors.

KROMATECH 2014: FOCUS ON COLOUR AND CREATIVITY

Digital glazing preview at Tecnargilla, the leading ceramic paint producers will be present in the dedicated section of the world´s most important trade fair for supplies to the ceramic and brick industry. New solutions offered by innovative digital glazing of tiles will be the focus of previews from companies in the sector. Tecnargilla 2014 confirms its centrality for the creative designers of the world ceramic industry.

In fact Kromatech - the section of the Rimini fair dedicated to paint producers, design studios and raw materials - will see the participation of the industry´s top players. Among those to be present at the fair are Colorobbia, Coloritalia-Wanxing, Esmalglass-Itaca, Esmaltes, Stylgraph, Torrecid, and Vidres.

Kromatech, which has grown since the last event, will also host the largest suppliers of raw materials for the ceramic industry, another essential component in the creation of ceramic tiles and sanitary fittings of high technical and aesthetic quality. Four months before the event, all exhibiting companies are actively engaged in developing and fine-tuning new technological solutions to present at the fair. In support of creativity in the ceramic tile segment, Tecnargilla 2014 will above all be the showcase for a brand new protagonist †digital glazing †the natural evolution of the inkjet decoration systems that have extensively revolutionised the tile decoration process in recent years (approximately 3,000 inkjet printers now operating throughout the world).

Alongside the paint producers who will present the new digital glazes, in an absolute world premiere the machine builders will show new application systems and integrated solutions for digital lines that will start the final run up to the definitive digitalization of glazing lines. This technological transition will allow the aesthetic level of materials to be raised and production lines and process management to be rationalized, thus leading to increased efficiency of profitability for ceramic businesses.

The DIGITAL TILE of the future will also be in the spotlight at Tecnargilla during the Acimac 6th Annual Meeting dedicated to digital technologies, where the sector´s largest companies will illustrate the results of research into glazes, inks, printers and colour management systems to an international public.
