DeAMS, an aerospace company based in Campania, Italy, has made a strategic leap in its international expansion. The company has secured a significant five-year agreement with Bombardier, a global leader in the aviation sector, which was announced at the Aeromart Montreal aerospace trade show, held from March 25 to 27, 2025.

Details of the Partnership

The agreement includes a $1 million project for the design and construction of automated, PLC-controlled lifting platforms at Bombardier’s plant in Dorval, Quebec. These platforms will aid in the production of Bombardier Challenger CL650 aircraft wings, enhancing production efficiency, improving ergonomics, and ensuring high safety standards.

Expansion into North America

In addition to the agreement with Bombardier, Deams has opened a new subsidiary in Montreal called Deams Automation America Inc. This move strengthens the company’s presence in the North American market and enables it to offer innovative solutions in engineering, automation, artificial intelligence, and robotics. The subsidiary will be led by Eduardo Minicozzi, an experienced entrepreneur in the tech and manufacturing industries.

During a visit to Deams' plant in Marcianise, Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, praised the excellence of Italian companies in aerospace and emphasized the importance of international expansion and industrial innovation.

Deams is also working to establish additional partnerships in Europe, Canada, and the United States, strengthening its role as a key partner in the global aerospace market.
