Expo Manufactura 2025: Boosting industry and supporting SMEs in Nuevo León

Expo Manufactura 2025, the most important event of the manufacturing sector in Mexico and Latin America, was inaugurated this Tuesday at the Monterrey International Business Center (Cintermex). With more than 168 exhibitors from 20 countries and an exhibition floor of 28,000 m², this edition is positioned as the largest in the history of the event and a benchmark in the industry.

The event was headed by the Governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, who highlighted the importance of manufacturing as the state's economic engine, representing almost a third of the state's GDP and generating jobs with salaries 13.6% higher than the national average.

Governor Samuel García took the opportunity to announce an economic package aimed at strengthening SMEs and local suppliers, highlighting 10 strategic measures to boost the state's economy. Among them:

  • Made in Nuevo León: A program that encourages large companies and consumers to purchase local products with a distinctive seal and special discounts.

  • Expansion of financing for SMEs: Currently, the state grants 2.5 billion pesos in loans to small and medium-sized companies; by 2025, the fund is expected to increase to 4 billion pesos, with loans of up to 8 million pesos per company.

  • Regulations for the consumption of local suppliers: Incentives will be established for large industries to prioritize purchases from local suppliers.

  • Expansion of international markets: Trade missions to Canada, Latin America, India, Europe and Japan were announced, in addition to strengthening relations with Texas, the fastest growing state in the United States.

  • Investment in technology and automation: Programs for SMEs to access new technologies and digitalization of their processes.

Expo Manufactura 2025 is not just an exhibition, but a platform for innovation, business linkages and the development of the manufacturing sector in Mexico. With more than 168 exhibitors, keynote speeches and business meetings, this event represents an invaluable opportunity to strengthen the national industry and consolidate Nuevo Leon as the epicenter of advanced manufacturing and nearshoring in Latin America.

The exhibition will be open from February 11 to 13 at Cintermex, Monterrey, where visitors and entrepreneurs will be able to learn about the latest trends in automation, digitalization and sustainable manufacturing.
