Together with theAmerican Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), t, ICE Agency (ITA) hosted, at the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exhibition (IMECE) , The Italian Way to Advanced Manufacturing panel discussion, which took place November 10-13, 2020 in Salt Lake City, (Utah). The Nov. 13, 2019 panel was attended by about 200 researchers, academics and industrialists from around the world who took part in IMECE's advanced manufacturing processes and related conference guidelines.
The panel provided an exciting discussion among ASME members and Italian industry experts on new technologies from Italy and best practices for collaborations between Italian and U.S. companies and with manufacturing research centers. During the reception, ASME presented the IMECE Advanced Manufacturing Best Paper Awards.
On the same dates, ITA organized on behalf of Italian delegates and panelists numerous site visits and meetings to build relationships with various U.S. counterparts and industry complexes such as Boeing and the University of Utah.
the 2019 edition of Innovation Days in Salt Lake City, Utah, was the second edition of the Innovation Days (ID) initiative, which aims to reaffirm Italy's position as the best solutions provider to the United States while encouraging commitments among some of Italy's leading companies and universities to create and/or further strengthen existing partnerships with their U.S. counterparts in business and research sectors.
