The site reflects Ficep’s consultative approach, blending engineering, CAD design, and logistics, and aims to replicate its Academy of Technology model from Italy. After considering Ohio, Ficep chose Georgia for its growing steel industry, proximity to Georgia Tech, and airport access. Executives cite the Southeast’s economic momentum and Alpharetta’s serene setting as key factors. Some Baltimore staff will relocate, and Italian engineers will support commissioning.
