The order index for Italian textile machinery carried out by ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers, for 2019 January-March period ranging from January to March 2019 dropped 3% compared to the same period

In the last quarter of 2015, Italian textile machinery manufacturers received a boost from their export markets, but in domestic markets, positive order trends received a setback. 

In Italy’s leading segments for instrumental mechanics industry, the graphic and paper machinery industry looks optimistic in correlation to the increasingly aggressive international competition and stagnant domestic market.

Italian exports of graphic, paper and converting machinery have increased by 4.82% in the first quarter of 2012. Imports are also showing an impressive + 9.94%. Such are the figures published by the Research Center of trade association ACIMGA based on Istat data.

In the first half of 2018, the export of automobiles assembled in Mexico grew by 10.5% compared to the same period last year, for a total increase in vehicle production equal to 6.4%.

The 2016 financial data for the Italian ceramic and brick machinery industry analysed by the Acimac Research Department – MECS reveal a further improvement in productivity and profitability.
