Guanajuato leads automotive production in Mexico with 658 billion pesos in 2024
Guanajuato positioned itself as the national leader in automotive production value during 2024, reaching an accumulated 658 billion pesos. With an annual growth rate of 16.8%, the state far exceeded the national average of 6%, consolidating its position as a key reference in the sector, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). The state accounts for 18.52% of the national production value, driven by the operation of four world-class assembly plants: Honda, General Motors, Toyota, and Mazda, in addition to the presence of two original equipment
