DeAMS, an aerospace and automation company based in Campania, Italy, has taken a major step in its international expansion with the signing of a five-year agreement with Bombardier. Announced during the Aeromart Montreal trade show in March 2025, the agreement includes a $1 million project to design and build automated, PLC-controlled lifting platforms at Bombardier’s Dorval, Quebec facility. These systems will support the production of Challenger CL650 aircraft wings by improving efficiency, safety, and ergonomics.
To further strengthen its presence in North America, DeAMS has opened a new subsidiary in Montreal—DeAMS Automation America Inc.—focused on delivering advanced solutions in automation, robotics, AI, and engineering. The new entity will be led by Eduardo Minicozzi, a seasoned entrepreneur in tech and manufacturing.
The company’s expansion received recognition from Italian Deputy Minister Edmondo Cirielli, who praised Italy’s growing role in global aerospace innovation. With additional partnerships in development across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, DeAMS continues to position itself as a strategic technology partner in the evolving aerospace landscape.
