Ontario Export Awards (OEA), is an event, sponsored by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters association and the industry publication Canadian Manufacturing, whose purpose is to identify and reward Ontario manufacturing companies that have distinguished themselves in their business efforts toward foreign markets and internationalization.
Machines Italia is once again, for the third year in a row, a sponsor of the OEAs and has sponsored the Global Reach Award, aimed at companies whose successes have crossed Canadian borders thanks in part to the help of Italian technology.
The 2017 Ontario Export Awards ceremony was held on November 21 at the International Centre in Mississauga. The gala event was attended by more than 300 guests representing companies and media institutions.
Machines Italia project spokesperson and ICE Agency Canada Manager Matteo Picariello presented the Machines Italia Global Reach Award to Lori Holjevac, VP Finance at BMP Metals Inc. c/o ClimateWorx International Inc. The Brampton, Ontario-based company manufactures high-precision air conditioning equipment using machinery from Italy's Prima Industrie Group.
