Mexico consolidated its position as the 9th largest exporter globally

Mexico ranked as the ninth largest exporter globally, representing 42.8% of Latin America's exports. According to information published on Plan Mexico's website, the country has shown sustained growth in its international trade operations.

The report indicates that Mexican exports have shown a diversification in terms of sectors. Among them, it highlights that:

    - Automotive Sector: Represents approximately 35% of total exports, with figures exceeding US$194 billion in the last year.

          - Electronics Sector: Contributes around 20% of total exports, driven by a growing demand for technological components and devices.

          - Agroindustry and Other Sectors: Agroindustry, together with the chemical and textile industries, account for around 30% of exports, evidencing a diversification in the supply of products.

Mexico's position in the global ranking has been achieved through the implementation of strategic policies that promote competitiveness, investment in technology and integration into international supply chains. According to Plan Mexico, these coordinated efforts between the public and private sectors have made it possible to optimize production, improve efficiency and expand access to new markets.

The data reflected in the report underscores Mexican industry's ability to adapt to the demands of the global market and establishes a solid foundation for continued export growth.
