The Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers at its annual show, AWFS Fair 2011 (July 20-23, 2011) in Las Vegas announced the 2011 recipients of its AWFS Fair Sequoia New Product Awards. The awards not only address creativity and innovation but also leadership in green/environmental product development.
Exports of Italian machinery have risen 37% during the first quarter of 2011, compared with the same period last year, according to the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT). Compared with growth during 2010, the number of Italian exports has increased by 27%. Italian machinery manufacturers will be looking to build on this success at ITMA in September.

During the first quarter of 2011, Italy’s textile machinery sector continued on its positive trend started the previous year. The orders index for the period ranging from January to March reached 164.6 points, marking a 12% growth rate over the previous quarter, and a rise of 42% over the same 2010 quarter period.

Preliminary 2010 data drawn up by ACIMIT (the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers) show a decisive recovery under way for Italy’s textile machinery sector, in the wake of a 2009 which had been marked by a conspicuous drop in production. In terms of value, Italy’s textile machinery production recorded an 18% increase with respect to 2009, from 1.9 to 2.3 billion Euros.

Mexico's product exports grew at an interannual rate of 4.1% in 2024, to 617,099.6 million dollars, Inegi reported Monday.Export growth in 2024 resulted from a 5.2% advance in non-oil exports and a 14.4% decline in oil exports.
