Ucima's international tour continues, as the association remains committed to promoting Italian packaging and converting technologies worldwide. The trade fairs represent important stages of We Make Packaging, the collective brand through which Ucima supports the presence of Italian companies in foreign markets, highlighting the technological and manufacturing excellence of the sector. The next appointments in the exhibition calendar will take place in Latin America and Asia, with participation in Expo Pack Guadalajara (June 10-12) and Propak Asia (June 11-14).
At Expo Pack Guadalajara, to be held at the Expo Guadalajara venue in Guadalajara (Mexico), Ucima will participate with a group exhibition organized in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), in which 27 Italian companies will take part: Agriflex, Axtra, Bellini e Meda, Boatopack, Camozzi Automation, Cavanna, Dipran, DM Packaging Group, Ecopack, FBR-Elpo, ICA, Imeta, Inkmaker, IPI, Italdi Bipack, Miele, Multipress, Omas Tecnosistemi, PND Costruzioni Elettromeccaniche, Raytech Vision, Ricciarelli, Rossi Ingegneria Alimentare, S.T.V. di Salati Giovanni & C., Senzani Brevetti, Teicom Sistemi, Tropical Food Machinery and Zille & Bellini.
Mexico remains one of the most strategic global markets for the industry. In 2024, the country imported packaging machinery worth €1.1 billion, an increase of 13.8% compared to the previous year. For the first time, Italy has become Mexico's leading trading partner, with exports reaching €308.4 million, representing a market share of 27.3%.
