Vitrum (http://www.vitrum-milano.com/) is the major European trade show for the glass industry and one of the largest in the world. The 2015 edition of the event took place in Milan’s Rho-Fiera Milano exhibition centre in Italy from October 6 to 9, 2015. The Machines Italia desks in Mexico City and Toronto, in partnership with GIMAV (http://www.gimav.it/en/gimav.php) – the association of Italian manufacturers and suppliers of machinery, equipment and special products for glass processing - organized a delegation of glass machinery end users and dealers to the show. Overall, 30 delegates were invited to Vitrum 2015 as part of this project.

A noteworthy event at this year’s Vitrum was the ATIV – the Italian association of glass industry technicians – conference, which focused on advances in glass processes, namely on key innovations in hollow and flat glass.
